MLB legend is photographer at the 2025 Masters

Ken Griffey Jr.’s passion for photography has taken him to Augusta National.

Griffey, who blasted 630 career home runs with one of the sweetest swings, was among a group of credentialed photographers at the Masters, snapping shots during the Honorary Starter ceremony. The Baseball Hall of Famer is covering the tournament for the first time.

Griffey has been seen snapping shots at many marquee sporting events, including the Super Bowl and World Series. He told USA TODAY Sports in 2024 that he picked up photography watching his kids play sports ‘because nobody bothers the photographer, really.’

Griffey played in the major leagues from 1999-2010 with the Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016.
